The Last Unicorn - animated remake
Recently I joined in on a community animation project that aimed to reanimate The Last Unicorn animated film. I was really happy to learn that I'd be accepted and got to work on my allocated shot. I worked from the layout and audio of the original shot and started to put my own style to it. Here are some WIP images. The complete animation was made with Adobe Suite software.
Ginger & Nut - christmas special!
This Christmas special was a hilarious and short challenge that I created with Co-Director Nick Crimmen. About a week before Christmas 2023, I had an idea for a short film that I'd like to create and sent it to Nick with Christmas day being the deadline. Below are our plans for design and story all bounced off of one another. We had a brilliant time making this with such a short deadline, although I don't recommend making Christmas day a deadline in the future. We were quite delirious by the end, but so happy with the result! Please give it a watch!
Animus
Animus is a personal project that I've been working on in my spare time. It's a 5 minute 2D tradigital shortfilm about a young witch called Agatha. It explores children who have to grow up quickly because of greif as well as the emotional trauma that loss presents us with.
We're workingon this Project in our free time outside of our jobs so its a slow process but we're loving every moment! If you wish to keep up with our progress please follow us on Instagram.

Paw4mers
Just before leaving WildBrain I was given the oppertunity to direct a short segment for their youtube channel. The paw4mers are an adorable bunch of kitty-cats who are in a super cool band! I designed the characters and their props in Adobe Illustrator and rigged them up in the facial recognition software Character Animator. Each character's eyelines, eyebrows and body shifting follow the puppeteer movements whilst hand movements are activated by set buttons. I had such a brilliant time putting this project together and would love to create more in this innovative software.

Dixi
Dixi is a kinda series, kinda social platform on the BBC website that a group of friends at school created to chat, play games and post videos and comics on. While I was working with the lovely team at Rumpus Animation in Bristol, I happily took the oppertunity to direct this exciting project about video games and super heros. Luckily for me, the style was supposed to look like a teenage girl had made it!

Another part of the Dixi project was the creating a video game world similar to a MMORPG like World of Warcraft Online. I loved creating the isometric characters and assets for this. We made it all in Flash. Neat huh?
