1-2-1 Animation mentoring sessions

Happy 2026 all!

Its time to get motivated and on top your animation goals! If that sentence rings fear into your heart and you need a little extra support, I'm opening up some animation mentoring slots that can be done in-person (if you live in nearby) or online. I always aim to get my mentee's feeling confident and motivated in my mentoring sessions. Through encouragement, motivation and gentle nudges out of your comfort, we'll build up your confidence as an artist and get you
achieving your goals in no time!

Free 30 min consultation.

Ready to get started? Great! We'll start with a free 30 min consultation to check that I'm able to help you out with your goals. These sessions would be ideal for animation students struggling to get on top of things at college or university, anyone trying to improve their portfolio or someone looking for their first step into the industry! To express your interest in the Consultation meeting, head to the bottom of the page and fill out the form.

North star meeting!

After the consultation meeting is all done, we'll start to discuss your goals in more detail! In our first session we’ll figure out your 'North Star' Objectives. These are going to be our main focuses for the rest of the  from there we can break them down into easy to reach plans!

Fortnightly, one-hour sessions

As we all know, animation takes a long time to do! I find that two weeks is a good amount of time to make some real progress by yourself. Every two weeks we’ll go through what you were able to complete and what stopped you with others to create a comfortable but effective working environment. If you're a Swindon local, I'm happy to meet for a coffee, or meet at my studio. Not to worry if you're a bit further out, I'm also fully set up for online meetings via Google meets ✨

Lets get organised!

Running an animation project or looking for industry work can be really daunting. I’ll help you to use industry standard resources and guide you through helpful softwares to create your own tools for long term success!

A plan made to suit you!

I'm super flexible with timing and will be happy to cater the mentoring experience towards what you need. If you need a littler extra EXTRA help with a project your working on, we can adjust as needed! And, when you feel like you’re ready to get back out there and take on the industry yourself, feel free to give me a week's notice before your next session and we’ll leave it there. But feel free to come back whenever you like if you feel yourself slipping again!

What I can help with:

what my Mentees think:

Leah is a wonderful mentor and a lovely person. She is kind, encouraging and a great listener. Her guidance has helped me learn to work in a professional way and has also given me more confidence in said work. From Leah's mentorship, I now have a better understanding of how to navigate the animation industry and what I need to do to achieve my goals. Her advice and feedback has been invaluable.

-Amelie Prideaux 2026
I am pleased to provide a reference for Leah Panigada-Carey, who has been tutoring my son one-to-one in animation for the past two months.
From the very beginning, Leah showed a genuine interest in my son’s work, taking time to discuss the animations he had created, his existing knowledge of online applications and his future goals. My son, who has autism and experiences anxiety, does not usually like to show or speak freely about his animations. Leah has shown exceptional patience, allowing him the time and space to express himself when he feels ready, while gently encouraging him to contribute his own ideas to each lesson to the point he has shared one of his characters to be included in the lesson.
Leah plans her sessions thoughtfully and delivers them at a pace that suits my son’s needs. Her supportive approach is helping him to believe in his abilities as a future animator and he is starting to grow in confidence which has made a significant difference to his learning journey. He looks forward to every session with Leah.
She brings creativity, dedication, and a caring approach that would enrich any classroom.
