I've had a long break over the 2023/24 new year - like many other creatives going through the work drought! During my free time, I've been working on some social media bits for my community in Swindon. This has been lovely for experimenting and trying my hand at Adobe After Effects. It's been nice getting into some more graphic design-based projects too. If you'd like some social media bits made for your brand, please feel free to get in contact!

Swindon's Artsite issued a curator callout for people in the community who might want to hold an exhibition for the first Swindon Arts Fringe festival. This was my first time using AfterEffects for animation so I decided to keep the designs and movement very simple and clean.

In Swindon, we have a brilliant spot called the Swindon Hub. It is a venue for hire, a cafe, a club space, a local makers store, a music room and a small library all for the community to use and share. Its all done off the backs of hard working volunteers so I made this call out for their socials.

I adore the medieval woodcut style. I wanted to create a small walk cycle that gives you the feeling that someone is watching you. The well known story of  little red riding hood travelling through the forest, stalked by the wolf reflected that so I went with it. 

This is quite a personal piece. I've had some bad christmas's before and I was thinking about a particular one in cornwall. There is a wider story about this that I'd like to explore at some point.
